Set Up Employee Self Serve (ESS) for the first time

Follow the link above to access ESS.

New Hires: Please allow 2 weeks for HR processing and account creation before attempting to log in.

Click the login link at the upper right of the welcome screen then enter your username and password.

  • Username is your first initial, full last name and last 4 of your social security number. Example – jsmith1234
  • Password is the last 4 of your social security number the first time you login.

  • You will be required to change your password at this point, as well as enter a HINT in case you forget the password you selected.
  • The new password must be at least 8 characters long, and contain - at least one upper and lower case letter, one number and one non-alphanumeric character. Example - W1tchC!ty.
  • Make sure the hint is something that will help you remember the password you selected.
